Mykita & Bernhard Willhelm Limited Edition AW 2009
To accompany his ski outfits, Bernhard Willhelm has joined forces with MYKITA, the couturiers of ultra-light glasses frames, to present three mirrored sunglass models. The result is a trio of aviator-style sheet-metal frames. We present the FRANZ style in Gold as seen on Sarah Jessica Parker filming the upcoming Sex and the City 2 movie in New York City.
The FRANZ model was inspired by and named after legendary downhill champion Franz Klammer. the expansive but spartan design is a conscious reference to the inadequacies of past manufacturing methods.
And they look fantastic!
